Study finance
Under certain conditions, non-Dutch students may qualify for study finance.
The Information Management Group (IB-Groep) implements the Study Finance Law on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.

Students who are delayed due to particular circumstances and who cannot conclude their study within the period when they receive study finance in the form of a grant, can apply for ‘graduation support’. The conditions for the support are included in art. 7.51 of the WHW.

c. The Codarts Instrument Fund
In certain circumstances a student can apply for an interest-free loan to purchase an instrument.
Some conditions:
• The propaedeutic certificate has been obtained
• A portion of the purchase price will be paid by the student
• The student signs a loan agreement
• College fees have been paid
• An application must be supported by the artistic manager of the Academy
• Minors have to accompany their application with written proof of approval from one of the parents / guardians.

Codarts International Talent Grant
Students from countries outside the EU/EEA can apply for the Codarts International Talent Grant. With the Talent Grant you will receive a discount on the tuition fee.
Students who are residents of non-EU/EEA countries pay a yearly tuition fee of €7,950.- (academic year 2010/2011). The fee does not include costs for immigrant procedures, boarding and study materials.
Prospective students can apply for a Codarts International Talent Grant. This grant gives a reduction on the tuition fee of €4,350.- per annum. A limited number of Grants are available for non-EU/EEA students. Talent Grants will be awarded by the admission committee as part of the admission procedure. Talent Grants are provided for a maximum period of four years for a full bachelor programme or one or two years for a masters programme.
Applicants must also show proof of adequacy in the English language to a minimum of grade 6.0 in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or minimum score of 213 in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) (computer-based) or 550 (paper-based) or 80 (internet-based)

Huygens Scholarship
The Huygens Scholarship Programme is directed towards bringing in, retaining, sending out and developing top students.
The HSP Huygens Programme is a grant programme intended for excellent foreign students who want to study in the Netherlands.
The HSP Talent Programme is intended for excellent Dutch students who want to obtain international study experience.
The Huygens Scholarship Programme moves into its fourth year with the 2010-2011 study year. The programme comes as a result of the policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as described in the Internationalisation Letter ‘Aim for Quality’ of November 2004. The Ministry of Education makes an annual sum of € 10,000,000 available for this programme.

VSB-grant
Every year the VSB Fund allocates one scholarship and a reserve place to Codarts, University for the Arts for a continuation study abroad for new graduates. The additional study needs to be at least 3 and a maximum of 24 consecutive months long. Candidates who would like to be considered for a VSB grant should submit a fully filled-in form, accompanied by a concretely elaborated study plan and a realistic budget, to the Internationalisation bureau at Codarts. The VSB Fund amounts to a maximum of € 10,000 (the definitive level of the grant depends on the study plan and the budget) and is a complete gift.
