Student Grants
As a Dutch citizen between the ages of 16 and 30, you are entitled to a student grant. You must be a full-time student at a college for higher education. The level of your student grant depends on your living accommodation, your parents’ income and your own earnings. If you do not hold Dutch citizenship, you can in certain cases qualify for a student grant. Please consult the nationality chart on www.ib-groep.nl or contact the IB-Groep Infolijn (050-5997755). Students who plan to pursue a fulltime advanced study course, following on from a bachelor course, also qualify for a student grant. This even applies to students older than 30 years, if the continuation of their study programme follows on directly from a previous study begun before their 30th birthday.
